I was so excited to try this product my son and I are both dairy free. I was particularly excited that the cheese melted. BUT the smell was overpowering and the taste was awful. We spat it out. The texture was good so well done for that but sorry we won’t buy it again.

I was sceptical trying a dairy free cheese, but as recommended in the packet, I made a toasted sandwich and was pleasantly surprised. Much more gentle on my tummy compared to regular dairy cheese.

I was really hoping it would be a hard fought battle between non-dairy cheese, and our normal cheddar. Unfortunately it was very obvious, in my opinion, that the vegan version is not even close. I do love cheese (and milk etc), so it would be hard to imagine not being able to eat it. I’m sure for any people who cannot, or choose not to eat dairy, that this would be a welcome alternative. But, for my household, we will be continuing with our dairy cheese.

I was really excited to try this, I’ve been wanting to try alternative cheese products. Unfortunately it didn’t pass the child taste test and I think it’s more of a cooking product than straight eat. Was a little disappointed it’s from Brazil as that’s alot of food miles and there was a lot of packaging.
