The Cafee Aurora Medaglia Italian blend is my personal pick for the chocolate content and general smoothness they produce by their roasters.
Over 15 years I’ve tried many brands in 1 kg size and the only one to come close to this brand and type is cafee Laffair Gusto beans.
The other reason I prefer Cafee Aurora is countdown regularly drop the price to about $15 Dollars a kg.
Even so I would rather lay extra for this brand as the beans keep well and you don’t have to adjust your grinder grade cut coarser as the air temps and humidity change .
All other brands I have tried have to be adjusted almost per cup grind depending on humidity. I have a separate grinding machine with a sealed top.
I suspect that coffee machines with an on machine grinder would find the problems worse as the heat from the machine must effect the bean humidity grind too.
This brand will help stabilise the grind consistency in that scenario too.
Cheers!
