I regularly purchase Burgen bread, it is a favourite in my household.

I regularly buy this bread however always the toast slice. To be honest the sandwich slice was only ever so slightly thinner. I love this bread toasted with fresh sliced tomatoes.

I really loved the bread – the flavour and texture was great. I do admit, we purchase Vogals – but only for the ‘very thin’ bread as I like the way that toasts… you consume less bread and it goes further. Burgen should consider a thiner option. For the moment, its great for a sandwich, but too thick for toast. Trail a thinner slice and I think I’d be sold!!
