Ceres organics bulghur wheat is made with organically grown durum wheat that has been cleaned, parboiled and dried before being broken up and sieved into different sizes.
Being precooked allows the wheat’s naturally occurring nutrients to be retained, including protein and dietary fibre. Traditionally it’s used to make tabbouleh, but its light, nutty flavour also makes an excellent alternative to rice and other grains. It’s super easy to prepare – just soak in some boiling water (about 10 minutes), drain and voila, it’s ready to eat.
