Really disappointed in these – they work, of course, but they claim to be ‘Earth Smart’ – although I’m not sure how. You have to throw these in your general waste since in most cases they are used for wiping up human waste. They then go to landfill where they sit for decades before starting to break down, if at all. Like a lot of products, they are listed as ‘biodegradeable’, but they can’t biodegrade unless they have access to air, which they don’t get in landfill. Don’t be sucked in! Good old fashioned flannels with a slug of water from your drink bottle are just as effective, way cheaper and a million times better for the environment.
