I had to recruit a male friend to try this one. He said it smelt good, went on easy and made him skin feel soft, after not using skin care products for 30+ years he recommends this and will continue using.

I love the smell and the fact its not oily. Husband thought it was nice to use but really just an adequate moisturiser – not bad but similar to a product like Aveeno. He’s not really the type to do face products so he probably won’t continue with any face moisturiser for long.

I have your typical “man” in the house with zero willingness to try something new, or apply anything than water to his face.
But with many a threat and bribe hubby did eventually give in and used this. I think for once his skin actually thanked him for some much needed moisture, but more so SPF protection. As someone who spends regular periods of time outside this has been great given his 40+ skin isn’t getting any younger.
He did find that early on his pores seemed to clog a bit more and become more prominent around mainly the nose area and forehead, now trying to convince him that cleansing is equally important is the next challenge.
Overall a good “man” product that I would recommend to those who won’t do anything else.

My husband loved this. He said it smells great, feels great and is an added bonus that it has sun protection in it too. He would definitely use it again. Great price too.

My husband really liked this cream. He enjoyed the smell of it and said it absorbed really well. It didn’t leave his face sticky and isn’t too heavy. I asked him if he would buy it again and he said yes.

It’s moisturiser. Husband used it, once, I use it, the teenaged girls in the house have been using it too.

My husband found this easy to use – not too thick and rubbed in well. He also didn’t mind the smell, I however found it quite strong to begin with.

Lightweight, non-greasy formula. The fragrance was not overpowering and has a masculine scent. My husband doesn’t use much in the way of face products so it will take a little longer to get him into the habit of using it every morning.

Good product for the most part: husband and son both liked using it and it applied smoothly. Prevented windburn really effectively for all of us going out for walks in the winter sun and wind. Would have liked much less fragrance and a higher SPF, however its still a good sell for my skincare-product adverse husband.

Nice manly packaging compared to Essano womans skincare range..
scent was as most reviews say it smells MANLY. My husband was convinced to give it a go as I was having such good results with my essano skin care products. He said it was a good product, left his skin feeling softer and more hydrated. smell wasnt over powering for him.
Fingers crossed he keeps using it as his skin looks like its benefited!

This is a lovely moisturiser, and it’s good that it’s got a little bit of SPF in there too (could go up to SPF 30 however, just to provide a bit more protection?). It lived up to it’s “no irritation” claim, and it’s great to have an affordable, plant-based moisturiser option. The only downside is that the scent is quite strong – not everyone wants to smell like this archetypal “man” scent!!
