Yummy for what they are but a slight processed taste to them. The failing in these are that you don’t really know what to expect in the can until you open it so that may limit sales. I made a yummy roti wrap with the beans, lettuce, tomato and yogurt. Yummy for an easy dinner.
+ PROS: Easy, tasty, versatile and something different.
- CONS:Sodium content and not sure what to expect from the contents of the can until you open it. I wouldn't grab it off the shelf not knowing what 'style' this was. I thought it was curry sauce initially.

I really enjoyed these beans! I created the tasty and easy curry recipe from the booklet (with a few alterations) and found it super filling and full of flavour. I’d buy these again for sure.
+ PROS: Tasty, great vegetarian option.

Really enjoyed these! Packed full of an interesting flavour, would be easy to eat as part of a meat-free meal (I had these as a side). Now that I’ve tried and enjoyed these I’d be comfortable looking for others in the range to try.

-great price for what can be a full meal
-heaps of nutrition
Very flavoursome
Can be use for more than one dish
Not a fan of Chickpeas but enjoyed
Really enjoyed the recipe – Good for a meat free meal
+ PROS: Good flavour
Good protein - Chickpeas
Can be use in more than on dish
- CONS:None

Love me some beans, but unfortunately I wasn’t a faint of the taste of these. The texture was good, but I won’t be buying these in future. Personal preference is all

Not really rated. I do like Whitlock and Sons other products, but these beans were just a little odd. Good serving size and not a bad option. I do prefer good ol’ Watties though…
+ PROS: Serving size
Alternative flavour - something different
These were an filling meal on their own with a bit of cheese. They reminded me of baked beans with a curry sauce. Not spicy, which is great for me and very quick and easy to make. I wouldn’t have considered them before but I would buy these again. I can see how they’d be great with plain rice or other carbs, too.
+ PROS: - quick and easy
- filling
- versatile
- CONS:- I’m the only person in the family who will eat this flavour.

Some beans with a kick!
+ PROS: Love that these live up to the typical Whitlock with lots of flavour and do have a makhani style kick. They’re delicious!
Great price point. I’d be more likely to pick these up now since I’ve sampled them, as I tend to flavour my own
