Haloumi is one of my new favourite foods so I was thrilled to try these patties – great alternative to meat and they made a tasty burger

Have never thought of making a vegetarian burger so was happy to give it a go. The patties were a good portion size and just the right shape for my burger buns. They held their shape well when cooked and didn’t stick to the tray.
I went onto the Food Snob website and used their tip for cooking the patties: Soak Halloumi in boiling water for 5 – 10 minutes, pat dry with a paper towel and fry until golden.
It worked really well and I ended up with cheese that was crispy on the outside and soft inside.
I served the patties with grilled peeled peppers and lemon aioli on a burger bun. Delicious.
+ PROS: Great texture and flavour
12.6gm protein per pattie
Holds shape when cooked
Loved not having to struggle with slicing a block of cheese! So convenient & tasty. Just remember to soak for a few minutes to remove some of the salty taste & pat dry.
+ PROS: Easy to use.
- CONS:Cost for 4 cheese slices is too high. $2.50 ech unfortunately outweighs the convenience. 🙁

Delicious halloumi, nice and flavourful! The halloumi comes in 4 patties, which you can use in burgers as is or use it for other foods
