The whole family enjoyed this bread for their toast.

Enjoyed the Freya Sourdough bread.
My whanau agreed that it was too thick that it didn’t toast well.
However they loved the bread as sandwiches.

This was not very fresh when it arrived so sandwiches were chewy. Toasted was okay. Would not buy this again

This Freyas Wholemeal Sourdough bread was so soft and fresh for a wholemeal bread and the sourdough flavour is nicely balanced, we have bought it again.

Freya’s and Sourdough, two things I enjoy. I usually buy the Tuscan Mixed Grain. The Black Box was here when I got home from school and it was perfect for an afternoon meat and salad sandwich. Best before date is for tomorrow, but the loaf still feels quite fresh.

Black box arrived today ( Friday ) best before date on bread is tomorrow.
So we all had sandwiches with egg or a sausage or home grown beetroot. Bread was ok but think we lucked out on the freshness of it.
We will still eat all of it. Toast tomorrow. 😉
