Inspired by artisan sourdough bread, Freya’s German Sourdough is made with a sourdough starter from the North Rhine region of Germany. This gives the bread a delicious tangy flavour, with the soft texture of Freya’s that you love. Lecker!
This bread has an unusual taste…and as a family we have decided it is nicer toasted…especially great to have with soup on a cool evening..smothered with butter while warm…mmmmm. Will definitely purchase again if stocked in our local supermarket 😊
The loaf of bread wasn’t terribly fresh by the time I received it, so I placed it in freezer and used it as I needed it. It still toasted up very nice, and I can say it makes very nice french toast. I’m going to buy a fresh loaf at my local supermarket to enjoy with some peanut butter or marmite!!

I enjoyed this with marmite and peanut butter. I was looking forward to a sandwich but sadly I think my loaf might have been a couple of days in transit as it was a bit dry.

Wasn’t very fresh when it arrived. I will buy this product so I can try it fresh because I normally love sour dough bread

I wasn’t a fan of this bread but my son loved it, he ate the whole loaf in two days, he said he wants to buy it again.

Really enjoyed this loaf- bread was light and fluffy. The loaf didn’t last a day in our house.

This bread is yummy. I have diabetic son and believe me he is fussy and he really likes it. We hooked and buy it all the time now.
