Inspired by artisan sourdough bread, Freya’s German Sourdough is made with a sourdough starter from the North Rhine region of Germany. This gives the bread a delicious tangy flavour, with the soft texture of Freya’s that you love. Lecker!

This bread is a real winner in our house as it doesn’t contain any perservatives which I am allergic to. The texture is great, and it’s a good bread to toast.
Absolutely love this bread and all of the freyas beats always so fresh and soft. The sour dough makes an amazing toasties or toasted and dipped in soup

Hadn’t tried Sourdough before this and loved it. We make toasted sandwiches in the sandwich press with left over roast chicken, cranberry jelly, camembert & baby spinach.
This sour dough is great toasted with Sunday brunch or try dipping it in garlic infused olive oil and popping it under the grill…. yummo ! It has a denser texture and is perfect as an accompaniment to soup and makes a super toasted sammie. Highly recommend !

Better toasted. We were not fans of this sourdough bread but as we make a lot of our own bread its probably unfair to compare a bulk produced product .
