Our winemakers first craft beautifully rich red wines matured in traditional wine barrels. Then
using our unique double barrel technique, the wine is finished in aged whisky barrels to build additional layers of complexity and an incredibly smooth finish.
Double barrel shiraz has aromas of blackberry, vanilla and waffle cone with smoky peat notes. On the palate, the wine is full and generous with a complex mix of plum, blackberry and vanilla, complemented by charry notes and a beautiful soft finish.
Best enjoyed with pan seared scotch fillet or beef wrapped in smoky bacon.
