A fresh, fruity and full-bodied pinot gris showing all the hallmark flavours you would expect from this variety in alsace; pears, gingerbread and a hint of smokiness. Being just off-dry in style, there is a tiny bit of perceptible sweetness on the finish but not so much as to make it at all hard to drink. In fact, this wine is really easy to drink and versatile, making an especially good match with spicy food. A great value example.
