Leveret Estate Merlot Cabernet

An area world renown for its merlot grapes. The wine is barrel-aged in new french oak for at least a year and then blended and bottled at our winey in kati kati, bay of plenty. The blend is approximately 69% merlot , and 31% cabernet sauvignon. The result is a deeply coloured wine, with generous plum, spice and nut flavours. Showing good concentration, ripe, supple tannins and a well-rounded finish. It’s a drink-now or cellaring proposition for up to 7 years. Serve with roasted meat dishes.
