A great source of plant-based protein, Bean Supreme Marinated Tofu is made right here in New Zealand using fresh ginger, garlic & spring onion pressed right into the freshly made tofu and then covered in a deliciously silky marinade. All the hard work is done just cut up into the size you desire and cook with your favourite veggies.

I found the sauce of the Peking tofu extremely sweet, almost unpleasantly so. We often buy imported Japanese tofu or freshly made tofu but I wouldn’t buy this flavoured type again.

I eat a lot of tofu but didn’t like this one. I found the flavouring too much, too messy and too sweet – it was a nothing flavour – just tasted like sugar. I also didn’t like the texture of the partially cooked (deepfried?) tofu.
