Love this sauce. Great spice heat, the whole family loves it but then we all love chilli and hot food. It’s not that hot but then my palate is probably a bit skewed. Definitely outstanding for sauce in a jar.
+ PROS: Delicious taste and heat level awesome.
- CONS:None.

From a dedicated Kiwi chilli consumer, this sauce is rocket fuel!
Seriously, use sparingly in stews and stir-fry dishes, using tomato paste as a buffer. It mixes well with pork & pineapple. It also goes well as a ‘sharpener’ with otherwise bland Asian or Sth African dishes.
Fiery appetit!
+ PROS: Genuine chilli taste.
Good thick consistency.
- CONS:Perhaps a little too hot for Euro palates.

I bought a bottle of Madewell Sambal Chilli to try out and they were very authentic. I came from an Asian country and it gets 5 ticks from me. I wish I had stock up as the supermarket does not stock it anymore.
