A pale gold wine with concentrated flavours of honey comb, juicy pear and stone fruits. This pinot gris from marlborough finishes with just the right amount of fresh fruit sweetness to demand another glass.
Try it with an entrée of grilled scallops, or a rocket and pear salad, with crumbled goats cheese and honeyed walnuts. For a main course this wine will serve beautifully with a salmon steak with ginger and lemon, or try free range pork, slow cooked for melt-in-the-mouth tenderness, and crisp crackling on top, and maybe some apple sauce on the side!
