With the piquant peppery taste of native Horopito and grass-fed NZ Beef, this slow-cooked Ragu is best accompanied by any type of pasta, like pappardelle, or fettuccine. Heat and serve with plenty of freshly grated Parmesan cheese and fresh Italian Parsley leaves.
Alternatively, serve with fresh steamed broccolini, wilted spinach, creamy mashed potato, or even spooned on a hot baked potato with a dollop of sour cream to finish.

Full of big bits of fatty tissue, if you’re into that sort of thing go nuts, but I spent most of the time picking it out.
+ PROS: Nice flavour, easy prep
- CONS:Horrible bits of fat all through it.

Tasty but woefully small
+ PROS: Really nice flavour. Easy to heat and eat.
- CONS:Very small portion for the price. Mine 2/3 filled a mug. Would not be enough to put through pasta for more than one person but the size of the packaging was deceptive in making you think there would be more. Would be good to either reduce the packaging size and target the single serve market or increase the amount so it served at least 2.

Sharon Mitchell–
Was keen to try this product as am always looking for a quick and easy tasty meal. Will definitely consider buying it.
+ PROS: Liked the convenience and taste of this product.
- CONS:Was a little too small a portion for 2, Would prefer a bigger sized sachet. Added rice and flat breads to meal.
Didn’t like the flavour would have loved a stroganoff or lamb ragout, and portion size is small for cost not really a meal on its own needs to be served with something else pasta, rice or salad or for cold days or evenings Mashed potato or kumara or a hot roast vege mix maybe. You would need to do more to get me to buy this product.
+ PROS: convenient if in a hurry or if time limited
- CONS:serve size too small for 2 people let alone a family.
would like to see more options seafood chowder or salmon, Lamb ragout maybe??
It was OK … flavour not super strong and portion not large for the price.
+ PROS: Meal in a pouch
- CONS:Needs accompaniments like rice / veggies
Not super flavoursome

Not bad but not thrilling either. Would buy it if eating for one and need something quick and easy as a winter meal.
+ PROS: Quick and easy. Tastes like meat. Could be applied in various meal types.
- CONS:Flavour is ok, but not overly scrumptious.

Unfortunately had just fed the cat with a similar looking product which was actually cat food so wasn’t very visually appealing. Taste was OK and was quick and easy to prepare.
+ PROS: Quick and Easy
- CONS:Looks like cat food

I was looking forward to trying this but unfortunately there was no way near enough for two. The flavour was disappointing it was a bit bland. It was more just like a sauce that needed lots added to to bulk it out.

Great taste. Will definitely buy in the future

Very tasty meal, however, you would need something else like rice, pasta or potatoes to go with it. As it’s a bit small to go on it’s own.

This was a nice surprise. Tasted way better than I thought it would…. A great easy snack/meal.
