Multix® Greener has launched a Plant Based Cling Wrap made with 45% plant based renewable sugarcane – how sweet is that?
It’s a sustainable alternative to petroleum derived plastic that reduces the demand for fossil fuel based plastics. Sugarcane naturally absorbs carbon dioxide from the air while growing and produces oxygen thereby reducing the carbon footprint on the product.
Awesome stuff! We often have leftovers which we Place in the fridge for the next day and I find other clingwraps don’t “cling” like they supposed to. I was very impressed by the way the clingwrap almost made my containers airtight
+ PROS: Greener and really stuck to the container can’t always
- CONS:Can’t always find it in our little local supermarket but will keep looking

Don’t use a lot of glad wrap now, but seems okay. Hopefully better for environment.

Just like any other cling wrap. It says sticks tight but not quite. The sides were hanging out when I wrapped my avocado this morning.
+ PROS: A 'plant based' wrap for sustainability and BPA free.
I don’t use cling wrap now due to the environmental impact so was intrigued by how this was a greener cling wrap. I guess it is a start being made or %45 sugar cane but what is the rest made up of and it can’t be recycled. Green – washing at its best unfortunately.
