Nederburg Shiraz

The winemasters ensemble by nederburg, comprising a top-quality range of varietal offerings, is named to honour the south african winery’s long-established tradition of winemaking excellence. These classically styled, food-friendly wines with abundant fruit flavours, elegance and finesse, treasure the integrity of the grapes in every step of the wine-growing and winemaking journey.

The grapes were sourced from vineyards in and around the western cape and harvested by hand and machine. The fruit was crushed and fermented, and after malolactic fermentation, matured in contact with french oak for a period of 12 months.

A rich and full-bodied red wine with flavours of ripe plums, prunes and cherries, with a hint of dark chocolate and white pepper notes. Good tannic structure with a prominent oak spice aftertaste.

A great match with mediterranean meat dishes, roasts, grills, oxtail, turkey, duck and game birds.
