I usually buy Obela hummus especially when I organise gatherings and need to get dips. Their flavour are always great. It was great to try a new flavour now there’s another option to buy for my friends.

I took this to Friday drinks at work and the overall people thought it was OK – most thought it was too sweet, I didn’t mind the sweet it was the bitter morrocan flavour that put me off.

I think the flavour we receive was just not for us, it was very weird taste no matter what we dip it with, I have tired their other flavour in the shop and it was 100 times nicer than this sweet potato dip.

I received the kumara version and used it as pasta sauce. It is not my preferred flavour, but I liked the texture and quality so would be curious to try the beetroot one.

I really like Obela hommus but this one was a bit spicy for us. We served it when guests came round and they loved it so we would get it again for visitors or a shared lunch but just not for us as an everyday food. But we will keep buying your roasted pine nut hommus which is our absolute fave. Your classic smooth is also awesome. In fact we love most of your products and I only buy another brand if the shelf is bare of yours and I’m wanting a particular flavour.

I really enjoyed the flavour of this hommus and would likely purchase again, I was a but put off by the use of the word sweet in the name as that is not the flavour I am looking for with hummus. For sweet potato i can understand but would probably purchase one called kumara over sweet potato and i wouldn’t purchase sweet beetroot, i would go for another brand just called beetroot
