I buy colgate due ti price, taste and ease of use. I found the twist cap cumbersome on the oral b. Also the flavour was remarkably mild

I bought oral b toothpaste years ago and did not like it. Since then we have been using colgate. I liked this one I tried, so it will come down to which brand is on a better special next time tooth paste is on my shopping list

I am fussy about my toothpaste brand. I only buy colgate 12 hour because I was told by a dental hygienist once that it really is the only one that keeps protecting that long. To want to swap brands I would need the same assurance.

I actually received this toothpaste in previous black box. I thought it was great and gave it good reviews. Even went and bought 3 new packs on special. However after using for prolonged period of time it has taken a layer of my gums off to the point of bleeding. Had to go to the dentist and they confirmed it was the toothpaste as that was only new thing i used. Think it was too harsh for my teeth and gums and will not be using it in the future. Gave the other packs to my parents and hoping they will be able to use it.
