On the occasions we do buy supermarket bread instead of sourdough from the bakery, it’s always Ploughmans. Toast slices that are actually thick! Toasts well but equally good in a sandwich.

+ PROS: Has a nice texture and flavour, and it smells amazing when you open the bag. Makes a hearty, filling sandwich, toasted sandwich or just yummy toast. Also keeps well and doesn't go stale overnight like some breads do.
