Stella Artois Beer Legere

The history of stella artois begins in the belgian city of leuven with a brewery called den horen that dates back to 1366. In 1717, master brewer sebastian artois purchased the brewery and changed it’s name to artois.

Stella artois légère is a smooth, sessionable, easy drinking low carbohydrate lager. Stella artois légère is developed through a refined brewing process with no preservatives.

Pacific jade hops are added early in the kettle boil to produce a bitterness which is delicate and very smooth, while czech saaz (the same hops used in stella artois) are incorporated for flavour and aroma. This results in fruity cues with a pineapple character.

Stella artois légère has light and smooth flavours that complement fine more subtle food types, such as chicken and seafood dishes. Stella artois légère’s smooth fruity cues also harmonise well with a creamy brie or camembert.
