Sun valley semolina is made from durum wheat. It is often used in the making of pasta, breakfast cereals and couscous. It is commonly known in the us as grits. Semolina is suitable for both sweet and savoury dishes. It is popular as a breakfast porridge with milk, or sweetened and refrigerated as a dessert called semolina pudding. Also used in coating fish or in soups and stews.
