I Recently had to take my dog to the vets as he had a problem with straining to go to the toilet over 3 days. His diet was Possyum which he has been on since he was 6 months old. I dont know if the roll recipe had changed but it was distressing to watch and have since changed to another brand and he is absolutely fine. Be careful with this product.

Just remember it contains 10% sucrose (sugar) used as a preservative, I don’t think dogs need sugar in their diet, however my dogs love it but I rotate dog rolls along with dry and raw.

We use this as a high reward training treat for our 7 month old labrador. She loves it and you can cut it into small chunks which don’t crumble to pieces.

1500 dogs in tauranga have presented with pancreatitis, all on possyum diet. This is official from our tauriko veterinarian. If you want to kill your dog early with fatty liver and pancreas failure, then this is the product to do it.
No food regulations around dog food allows this to continue. Thanks for the $600 vet bill and nearly killing my dog!
