I think the oil used to stop the rice sticking gives it a really unpleasant flavour, and a dry mouthfeel

I see these in countdown and they are cheaper than the usual products I buy so was glad to try and find the product is ok. I didn’t want to buy it if it was yuck. Its got quite a varied range too. Will buy again.
