This rice was a really good accompaniment to a curry. Felt good to be having a healthy option. Would be keen to buy it again if it was competitively priced. Found the opening of the pouch not as easy as other brands as it didn’t rip as well as others do.

This rice tasted really good and had great texture. As a family we are moving away from products that have unnecessary packaging so getting a plastic pouch that only serves one meal isn’t a sustainable option for us. We are totally sick of plastic and the “but it can be recycled” argument – it doesn’t get recycled, so we won’t buy it. It was a great product though, so if it were packaged differently we would buy it.

This ready to eat rice comes with great convenience, but we don’t buy ready to eat rice due to wasted packaging and cost when it’s really easy to cook from scratch.
