white bread is just brown bread with all the goodness stripped out. even adding back certain nutrients doesn’t cover the deficiencies created. Obesity was unheard of before white bread came along.

Well I never bought white bread before but my son was so delighted to have white bread in the house he gobbled it up and even started taking sandwiches to school again and so I have started to buy white bread for him but have started giving it to my toddler too. I hadn’t bought packaged white bread in years! I guess I do now.

We usually purchase Oatilicious for the kids and wholegrain varieties for ourselves; if we are getting white bread we usually get a baguette or similar, so we would not purchase this again unless we had a specific need.

We usually only eat whole grain bread, but the tip top white bread was so lovely and soft, and the kids really enjoyed it. I will probably purchase it again for the kids
