I really enjoyed this, though a bit spicy! I cooked in the microwave. I would look at buying to have as a quick lunch option

Yes, it needs to be cooked on a stovetop but that’s made very clear in the packaging. Great taste, great price!

+ PROS: Tasty, cheap, filling, great the chilli is able to be adjusted for personal taste.
- CONS: Stovetop needed but that’s only a con if you’re not expecting that.

These things are great – they are a good base for an easy dinner – just add a few dumplings or left over meat and veg/mushrooms and a hearty soup.
Care taken when cooking that the noodles dont all stick together or to the pot but

Cooked in the microwave, and the noodles floated to the bottom and stuck together. Good flavour. Can choose to add the chill sachet or leave it out.

Needs a pot not a great meal for luncha t work unless you have a full kitchen. Was quite spicy though and not big on the noodle texture but I did like the soup

+ PROS: Nice flavour though it was very spicy, I think the laxa would be nicer
- CONS: Not great for a meal on the go when relying on a microwave. You would need a kitchen so there is no point of you need a heat and eat meal on a lunch break which is what I used it for sot very disappointed in that.

Solid for a packet Tom Yum and so easily made into a meal with the addition of prawns and mushrooms + some fresh herbs

+ PROS: Good flavour profile Fast and easy Easily adapted to a more filling meal
- CONS: Needs a pot to be made easily, made mine with boiling water in a bowl at work and had to soak noodles twice to soften them enough quickly
