This Black Garlic and Sundried Tomato Salami is a unique, traditionally dry-cured & aged salami which tastes great. The black colour of the garlic is created through a slow caramelisation process and this process also results in the development of a delicious, sweet flavour.
Our salami is ready to eat straight out of the pack. If kept longer than 7 days, keep it dry by wrapping in a paper towel.

I liked the packaging, the colour was different, it looked smart and sophisticated. I was interested in the black colour of salami and having sundried tomatoes. I really enjoyed the product. The taste was new and inventive. Would buy again.

I liked the idea of Black Garlic Salami and I liked the ‘exotic’ look of it – but the flavour was a bit bland, a bit disappointing, thought the flavour would match the visual. But I still enjoyed it – but prefer stronger flavours.

I liked it but ordinarily wouldn’t go for a salami that is so busy flavour wise. Usually just get the one with peppercorns in it and then a simple cheddar and gherkin on crackers.

I like Verkerks salami products but the flavour combination of this wasn’t appealing to me, I didn’t mind it when I tred it but I wouldn’t purchase without trying it as I’m not sure that I would like and would tend towards traditional flavour to be safe
