This Black Garlic and Sundried Tomato Salami is a unique, traditionally dry-cured & aged salami which tastes great. The black colour of the garlic is created through a slow caramelisation process and this process also results in the development of a delicious, sweet flavour.
Our salami is ready to eat straight out of the pack. If kept longer than 7 days, keep it dry by wrapping in a paper towel.

I thought the salami was better than Verkerks non aged salami. As much as i enjoy cured meats i don’t often buy them because of the high salt content. This salami was actually quite mild in flavour and to convince me to purchase this over their cheaper (green packet) salami it would need more flavour.

I thought that the product tasted great! I used it in sandwiches and filled buns. I could easily see this as a meat on a antipasto or charcuterie platter.
