This Black Garlic and Sundried Tomato Salami is a unique, traditionally dry-cured & aged salami which tastes great. The black colour of the garlic is created through a slow caramelisation process and this process also results in the development of a delicious, sweet flavour.
Our salami is ready to eat straight out of the pack. If kept longer than 7 days, keep it dry by wrapping in a paper towel.

The black in the salami was a little off-putting to start with but the flavour totally made up for for any hesitation we might have felt. This salami was amazing and went straight to the top of my list. We eat a lot of anti-pasto platters with bread and Verkerks salami always features. I will be including the black garlic salami now and also recommending to friends. I think once you’ve tried it you get past the look very quickly. I think we are just used to salami looking a certain colour and this is a change. A welcome one though – delicious!
