Found that the meat and gravy had a great texture (much better than some bakery pies!) but the product was missing the flavour. Also found that the pastry wasn’t as flakey as I hoped it would be. Followed the instructions on the packet, but maybe next time I will try the microwave + oven method mentioned in the reviews!
The “Who Ate All the Pies? Lamb, Thyme & Rosemary Pie” is a hearty, flavor-packed delight with tender lamb and fragrant herbs in a perfectly flaky crust.
+ PROS: - Rich, savory lamb filling with well-balanced thyme and rosemary flavors.
- Buttery, flaky crust that complements the hearty filling.

I love it. Lamb, Thyme, and Rosemary pies should be the quintessential NZ pie.
Personally, to reheat you will need a microwave and a small toaster oven. Put the pie in the microwave for 1 minute and 30 seconds, and then transfer to oven and heat for a further 6 minutes at 180. Pie should then have a hot filling and flaky crust just like how god intended.
Don’t forget to adjust timing of microwave as different microwave have different power settings.
Sorry I don’t have any tips on reheating a frozen pie.

Ok that was a great pie, full of meat and tender.
The flavour could have been stronger for me but overall I enjoyed.

Delish, easy, doesn’t just taste like general meat stew

I rate the filling – not gluggy like other pies usually end up. I found it easiest to cut in half down the middle before heating.

Lots of real lamb filling; delicious and real easy to heat.
