My son ate the pie and enjoyed it. It didn’t look like it had a lot of meat in it to me but he said it was tasty and the pastry was nice.

Was nicer than most bakery pies, certainly the best of range in the supermarket category. Heated in the Air fryer which was excellent with nice crusty pastry
+ PROS: Thick gravy, nice soft filling

Felt like an average pie. Didn’t enjoy the texture of the meat( too puréed)

Pastry was nice but the filling seemed to be just a ‘gluggy/gummy’ gravy with no meat or cheese in sight. Combine that with the price and that makes it a no-buy for me.

It’s easy to see that quality ingredients have gone into this pie. The meat was lean without fat or gristle. It was cooked perfectly. The gravy was flavoursome and the pastry was well cooked with no undercooked soggy bottom layer. The cheese just seemed to add to the overall flavour. The pie had a good amount of filling unlike some pies which are mainly gravy. They are expensive but at least you’re paying for quality ingredients.
+ PROS: Ample filling
Quality ingredients
Bottom of pastry cooked through and not soggy
- CONS:Pricey

Have never thought of making a vegetarian burger so was happy to give it a go. The patties were a good portion size and just the right shape for my burger buns. They held their shape well when cooked and didn’t stick to the tray.
I went onto the Food Snob website and used their tip for cooking the patties: Soak Halloumi in boiling water for 5 – 10 minutes, pat dry with a paper towel and fry until golden.
It worked really well and I ended up with cheese that was crispy on the outside and soft inside.
I served the patties with grilled peeled peppers and lemon aioli on a burger bun. Delicious.
+ PROS: PRO
Great texture and flavour
12.6gm protein per pattie
Holds shape when cooked
- CONS:CON
Couldn’t taste the mint
